Painting rich in color
Deeply connected to his country's culture, he honors Brazilian tribes and their way of life in harmony with nature through his art. Wanderley incorporates symbols and motifs into his work that reflect their beliefs and sacred connection to the land.
Wanderley came to painting intuitively; at first, it was a way for him to express his deep nature and origins. Inspired by the natural richness of the Amazonian forests, he conveys in his works the raw and organic energy of this lush environment. His canvases capture the density of the foliage, the fluidity of the rivers, and the vibrant textures of the jungle, creating a dialogue between man and his surroundings.
He does everything himself, from preparing his canvases to the meticulous application of color, in an authentic approach.
An extraordinary project
CARAJÁS, A MONUMENTAL WORK AT THE HEART OF HÔTEL SQUARE
The painter pushes the boundaries of creation with Carajás, an extraordinary work measuring 2.71m x 2.30m, created on wood with acrylic paint and copper leaf. Inspired by the volcanic power and the movement of natural forces, this imposing piece vibrates with raw and organic energy.
Designed in three parts and then assembled on-site, Carajás comes to life in the main hall of Hôtel Square, a five-star establishment in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. A masterful work, to be discovered for one year at 3 Rue de Boulainvilliers, where it interacts with the space and invites immersion in an intense and incandescent universe.
